Choksi Contacts Pvt. Ltd. came into existence under the dynamic leadership of Mr. Prakash S. Choksi who having completed his SSC. at St. Xavier’s Academy, Bombay, in 1963 went to West Germany for higher education in Mechanical Engineering. He completed the course not in a mediocre way, but being the first amongst the best, by securing 97% and winning two gold medals to his credit. He achieved a tremendous feat in West Germany by completing the course in 14 months which was in fact, designed for 3 ½ years. By hard work, determination and an earnest will to succeed; he climbed each stair in corporate hierarchy with vigor and became Chairman & Managing Director of the Company. He has a rich experience of over 42 years in designing and producing tools of engineering products, manufacturing of electrical contacts and even manufacturing of machines. In his entire career of more than four decades, he had served the Indian Electrical Industries to a very great extent.
